Flexible options for creating timely notifications from across United Baristas Services

Legacy feature

Feeds are primarily maintained for our internal purpose, but we continue to make them publicly available as a legacy, unsupported feature.

Use Notifications

For most people, Notifications are a simpler and more powerful way to either get new listing notifications or be notified when a listing as changed.

For advanced users

Feeds require an understanding of RSS and third-party services. This information is for guidance as we are not able to provide specific support on custom feeds

Purpose

United Baristas Services automatically produces a real-time feed of new listings.

You can use the feed to:

  • See new listings in a reader
  • Build your own notifications 

The feeds are provided free of charge for individual use and are subject to our terms of service which prohibit publishing and re-syndication without prior agreement.

Feeds are available by Section

Feeds are provided for each section across United Baristas Services.

For example, this is the espresso machine feed for Marketplace listings:

Reading the feed

You can follow the feed in your preferred RSS/Atom reader (such as Feedly or this review of 12 readers).

Building notifications

You can also use it as a source for automation tasks with third-party services like IFTTT or Zapier.

These services allow users to easily build advanced automated tasks, such as:

  • push notifications on most platforms, including email, social channels or messaging apps
  • filtering (Zapier only)
  • plus an array of other options
